This is probably not the problem. If he wants to tunnel X, he needs to
make sure that the sshd_config file is set up for this. It is shipped
to NOT forward X by default in Debian.
Having said that, he needs to package installed in order to have
anything to forward over the ssh tunnel. In order to get the tunnel
working, he has to edit the sshd_config file.
