I knew that...
but relied on "Life with Qmail" by Dave Sill (section 5.1):

LWQ> Unless you patch it for $HOME delivery, procmail will still use

I didn't intent to patch procmail as I can't speak C properly...  It
mentions various other problems and recommends maildrop instead.
