Yes, avview needs libc6 version greater or equal 2.2.5-13 (that is,
libc6 from unstable), but you have libc6 from woody. I would not
recommend using unstable libc6 because it has filed a RC-bug against
it (it will apparently break your apache).

BTW, please update to version 2.2.5-11.1, it's a security update.

add the following line to your /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main
