Thanks for the conribution, but turkeys like me -never- touch /etc/hosts.conf .
I have never seen a HOWTO ro other advice that mentions /etc/hosts.conf except to
aay that it should contain the stuff that is put there by some part of the standard
install. Really, is there -any- case where a newbie would be advised to change it?
If anyone could site, it would be an addition to my education.
