> I there a list of mirrors that are known to be up-to-date ? I just used > apt-spy The problem is that every mirror that uses the standard Debian mirroring script is out-of-sync at least once each day. The problem is that updating gets done in a funny order which leaves the mirror's Packages file (the one you downloaded with 'apt-get update') referring to .debs that don't exist on the mirror. If you wait a few minutes the mirror will catch up and life will be good. I've been meaning to fix the script, but haven't gotten around to it. It's not too difficult, really, but will require a bit more disk space on the mirrors while they're syncing. noah -- _______________________________________________________ | Web: http://web.morgul.net/~frodo/ | PGP Public Key: http://web.morgul.net/~frodo/mail.html
