ps no longer works

hi,

I've just did a clean install of Woody and everything seemed fine. However, after configuring my system ps no longer works.

I always get this error:

stef@NodeFilter:~$ ps

Signal 7 caught by ps (procps version 2.0.7).
Please send bug reports to <acahalan@cs.uml.edu>

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Top still seems to work, can I simply re-install ps?

Please carbon copy me, I'm not on this list.

Thank you,

Stef
