ps:

If you want to upgrade your woody 

mv /etc/apt/preferences /etc/apt/preferences.ren

editor /etc/apt/sources.list 
put  a # in front of the unstable lines

do an apt-get  update

apt-get upgrade

after the upgrade:
mv /etc/apt/preferences.ren /etc/apt/preferences
editor /etc/apt/sources.list 
remove # in front of the unstable lines

apt-get  update
