xfree 3.3.6 + agpgart.o != i810 ??

Hello all,

On debian potato 2.2 r5, xfree version is 3.3.6, which
doesnt support i810 mobo by default. Intel provides a driver called
agpgart.o. Which I have installed, after compileing from source.(
after racking my brain for 3 days on its makefile )
then ran xf86config. And in the section "Device" section of XF86Config
file I
entered -
Identifier "i810"
Driver "i810"
as instructed at
http://www.linuxnewbie.org/nhf/intel/hardware/i810intel.html.
( followed the instruction to book )

But on startx as root, X server starts but is hung; I just see a
desktop with debian symbol & 'debian' written across at the bottom,
On depmod there are unresolved symbols in agpgart.o & binfmt_aout.o.
I am sending the output of startx & dmesg at the bottom. I did
extensive
search on google about this, but no luck. Has anybody successfully
configured this before ?

Now I am stuck, I think it has something to do with my configuration.
I would be grateful if somebody shades some light on this mistery.
No I dont have resources to download Xfree 4.1x. ( got a winmodem )

Thanks

~Sachin
