One interesting thing you could do is to install an IMAP server
and the use both clients to access your mailboxes via IMAP.

I do that -- I use Mutt, but sometimes I need (really) to check HTML
mail that comes in several little parts (figures, etc), so I just
use Mozilla to access my mbox via IMAP.
