This isn't always right. Newbie customer (with a little knowledge, so
is very dangerous) who wants to be 1337 comes in as says, "I want a
PC so I can install Sid on it!". So I, the salesman, try as hard as
I can (within the bounds of good manners, etc) to steer him to woody.
Why? I want him to succeed, thereby being happy with his purchase, and
not failing and blaming someone else (me and the computer store) for
his failure, and then bad-mouthing Linux, Debian and the store to his
friends. (You knowing how irrational people can be.)
