If that were the case, I couldn't subscribe to the apache lists, which I
have, or use them as normal, which I have.  Something, somewhere, in
your MTA or DNS config has to be broken for it to not work as expected,
without exception.  Just because Apache is the only one who brought this
to your attention doesn't mean Apache's list server is broken.
