Memory
I have been having some problems with my system eating up memory
lately. I ran top to check the memory status..
CPU states: 1.2% user, 1.0% system, 0.0% nice, 97.8% idle
Mem: 516504K total, 485396K used, 31108K free, 235912K
buffers
Is that accurate?
I then checked meminfo...
cat meminfo
total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached:
Mem: 528900096 498696192 30203904 69750784 241573888
180416512
Swap: 2006958080 0 2006958080
MemTotal: 516504 kB
MemFree: 29496 kB
MemShared: 68116 kB
Buffers: 235912 kB
Cached: 176188 kB
SwapTotal: 1959920 kB
SwapFree: 1959920 kB
I checked some man pages, but I haven't had much luck figuring it out.
Does anyone have any insight or a direction to point me too?
