So you've run `smbpasswd <user>` and given your user a password.

Now, are you getting any hints in the log files?  /var/log/samba/smb
should at least let you know if the computer attempting to connect is
passing the right credentials or not.

Also, what's your SECURITY line set to in your conf file?
