Re: How do I turn off the Virtual Desktop?

Currently in /etc/X11/XF86Config you have a series of entries along the
lines of:

Section "Screen"
    Driver "svga"
    Device "Generic VGA"
    Monitor "1"
    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 8
        ViewPort 0 0
        Virtual 320 200
    EndSubsection
EndSection

Note the Vitrual keyword.

Go through the document and remove the entire virtual line and restart
X.

Hope that helps.
