IceWm is quite lite, and even looks a bit like the dreaded OS from
Redmond. Three flavors: icewm-lite, icewm-gnome, icewm-experimental
(-gnome + eye-candy like anti-aliasing)

If you like mutt, another vote for Sylpheed. Try the -claws version for
more advanced features. You can even run Sylpheed and mutt on the same
mailboxen if they're in MH format (which mutt is a bit slow to parse).
