character pb. with debconf/dialog in UML+Debian FS
Hi,
I'm using UML with a Debian potato root_fs and I have a problem with
debconf and the dialog interface. When I run deconf in the terminal
where I started UML or in one of the 2 xterms, characters used to draw
borders are messed up (as if using the wrong charset). Here is what I
see:

But when I run debconf in an ssh session from the host to the UML,
everything is OK.
I tried to use console-tools to change the console font or force its
encoding, but it fails:
# /etc/init.d/console-screen.sh
Setting up general console font... Couldnt get a file descriptor referring to the console
get_console_fd: Invalid argument
