char-major-10-135 is the real time clock - /dev/rtc - it's actually
the kernel complaining that you didn't compile the module for it.  No
biggie, it'll live without it.

This is probably a font selection happening in
/etc/init.d/console-screen.sh, which reads it's config from
/etc/console-tools/config - you can change the font there if you wish.

I think logitechs use MouseMan as their protocol, at least mine does,
although that's for X4 - don't know what gpm calls it.  Perhaps rerun
gpmconfig and recheck your options?
