hello lately i've installed grub since some have mentioned it here. the only two things i had in my lilo.conf and that i want to retain were vga=7 and append="apm=on". let chain-load, i've found another way of defining the vga-mode -- vidmode, which works just fine. what about apm? there surely must be another way for doing this other than lilo. can anyone tell me what to do? or do you think that grub isn't a good choice for a single-os system after all? thanks, andrej
