Actually, on my system it didn't make any difference what I did in the
...e_session-XXXXXX.snapshots.0 file. I did exit E and X to edit the
file, but no change to my desktop.
I finally ended up backing up my ...e_session-XXXXXX file before
deleting it (just in case). After starting X and E without that file -
everything works!! :)
