they are marked
  Kowa A-6263 Q1 -7

where the "-7" is slightly superscripted.

am i to assume that the chips are therefore 133MHz?

can anyone of you think of a reason why my motherboard would not
detect the chip unless i configure the bios to use 100Mhz bus speed
(what is this bus? the front-side-bus?)?

again, any hints are more than welcome!
