The CHS figures shouldn't matter, as long as fdisk reports the same
size for both. (And even if the size is different, mkraid should just
ignore the surplus on one drive.

There appears to be a newer patch, kernel-patch-2.2.19-raid (in
testing/unstable, but that shouldn't matter). You could try that one.
