OK, another update.. I managed to download a .vob file after an
hour of searching.. I guess these things are decrypted and therefore
illegal and therefore not very available? The file is called
"rain.vob" and I guess it's some kind of a Dolby Digital demo.
It plays, but no sound. Here's the output from xine. What's with the
"failed to initialize X shared memory extension" stuff? How can I fix
this? I'm running 3.3.6, which is supposed to work, albeit without
Xv. Upgrading to 4.* is too much of a nightmare to even think about
right now.
