This isn't necessary, as long as you have multiple partitions and set
the bootable flag on the linux partition.  I run Debian Potato/Win2k no
problem at home with LILO loading Win2k.  I can even mount the NTFS
partition (read-only) no problem using the ntfs module.

Just repartiton using Partition Magic or something similar and install
normally.  Don't bother with Win2k's boot manager or anything, just
make sure you install linux after windows.
