What does that mean?
When configuring the keymap with kbdconfig you hit "y" after the prompt to load the german keymap and then at the shell-prompt you can't get "ä,ö..."?

Yes, I know. I copied XF86cpnfig from an other installation with the same graf.-card + monitor and it don't work. I also have run XF86Setup again and again, nothing works.
