cron stops logging to syslog
I'm running potato on two machines here and on one of them, cron
mysteriously stops logging to syslog after some period of time. I
haven't yet determined the exact amount of time that must pass before
this happens (I will try to do that soon) but I wanted to see if this
has been happening to anyone else. I didn't see anything like this
reported in the BTS.
Everything else is logging correctly, and if I do a crontab -l or -e or
whatever that is also logged... just the actual notices of the jobs
being run are not logged. (The jobs themselves are still executed at
the correct times.)
Otoh if I restart cron, logging starts working again.
Any ideas? Considering this doesn't seem to be a problem on my other
potato box, I am at somewhat of a loss.
