Has anyone tried pgcc to optimize and build a kernel for their system ??
Does it make much of a difference ? I haven't used Mandrake but some
Mandrake proponents can't seem to stop mentioning how its optimized for
Pentium processors.
On a related note, I haven't been able to find debian packages for pgcc. Is
this because of licensing issues ? Are there any debs available for it at
all, or is the source tarball the only way to go ?
Thanks.
