I have a couple of questions concerning the .xsession script. Will calling gnome
session load enlightenment, and whatever other programs I have loaded? also, what is
the "&" for at the end of each line above? My .xsession looks something like this:

/usr/local/bin/licq
/usr/local/bin/gaim
/usr/share/enlightenment/enlightenment
exec gnome-session

The first few times I have shut down and restarted, everything came back just as
above, with the exception that gaim was not loading, but now, when I start xwindows,
E loads, along with my gnome panel, and two (sometimes three) cases of licq

It also loads up at least one eterm window, and if I have one open when I shut
down, it will load up more.

   More questions <g>.

1. Sometimes when I shut down and restart, my panel settings are saved, and still
there, but sometimes they are not, and I have to re-do my panel setup.
2. Does anyone know of any way to save the settings with the
asclock applet. It does not seem to want to keep my time zone, and am-pm settings, or
the theme i use.
3. I had the power go out during a storm a couple of days ago, while netscape was
running, now everytime I start up, netscape is started as well.
4. what is the meaning of life? :>

hehe, pretty new at linux, so I always have a million questions.
