I am not an expert, but...

1FA: should not be a problem, it is perfectly correct: it is the lilo loader
prompt.
It means
press 1 to boot off the first partition
press f to boot off the floppy
press a to list all partitions

If you have installed linux to boot off your first partition with lilo, then
you will be absolutely fine, just press 1.
