| So you want to access the mail stored at this box via pop3? You need
| cucipop or qpopper.

Or the imap package, which provides pop2, pop3 and imap daemons.

| You want fetch mail from your ISP with pop3? Use fetchmail.

Agreed. It works great, can use just about any protocol known and, in
default mode, just delivers the email via smail to your box.

| tp> 2) send mail via SMTP
| ??? This is what smail is for. What is you problem with this? In
| smailconfig choose "Internet site".
|
| tp> 3) forward some other mail to another email
| Edit the file /etc/aliases
| An entry looks like:
| root: tpua
|
| tp> 4) forward *@justquotes.com to tpua@justquotes.com
| Never done this. Sorry.

For these last two you could consider procmail as well. It's an
extremely powerful mail handler and you can install it as your default
handler by editing the "local" transport in /etc/smail/transports.
