You're lucky, it doesn't boot here in my desktop system with Award BIOS.
I assumed it wasn't bootable when it didn't work. The Debian 1.3
disks I have from LSL from the original Debian images boot just fine.

The CD is a bit munged in that it doesn't have the dists hierarchy
so it takes a little mucking around with apt. I put the disk in a machine
with a fast CD-ROM drive and upgraded an older machine from bo over HTTP.
That went okay, if slowly (DX2-66 with 16mb RAM and klunky hard drive.)
