	Are you using a copy of the kernel source that you used earlier on bo, or
is it a fresh copy?  I had a couple of problems with an old copy of the
kernel source previously compiled on bo.  Some of older utility progs that
the make process creates no longer worked because they were expecting
libc5.  Start with a fresh copy of the sources, or do a 'make distclean',
IIRC, and see if that helps.
