I have commented out two lines in my XF86config like that:
# To set the LeftAlt to Meta, RightAlt key to ModeShift,
# RightCtl key to Compose, and ScrollLock key to ModeLock:
LeftAlt Meta
RightAlt ModeShift
# RightCtl Compose
# ScrollLock ModeLock
Works for me.
