This request is a bit vague. Tell us what you have in the way of
partitions on the disk already. Do you have to delete an old partition to
make room for linux? Basically, you want to define a swap partition and
one or more ext2 partitions for your filesystem(s). 

The install instructions describe all this, and the cfdisk man page is
included in the directory that has the install disks.
