I do Perl development and I like to keep a current binary as /usr/bin/perl so that it gets a good workout. How should I tell the dpkg system that perl is available even though I don't have the standard perl package installed? -- Roderick Schertler email@example.com -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to firstname.lastname@example.org .
