re: previously posted dinstall patch

Oops.  I had a chance to test the dinstall patch that I posted earler
today.  Two problems:

- There shouldn't be two semicolons after the 'mkdir || complain' line
in the first fix.

- The second fix relies on a non-zero return value from dd in the
event of a failure.  However, when dd tries to write to a
write-protected floppy, it fails and returns 0.

Can anyone give me a clue?  Is there some way to check if dd
successfully created the bootdisk?
