Träges system
Moin!
Bin mal wieder auf debian wheezy/sid unterwegs. Und recht gefrustet.
Nicht wegen der Stabilität oder dem Angeobt an Software, nein, da bin
ich äusserst zufrieden, nur 1,2 kleine Dinge von windows vermisse ich.
Aber dennoch, Kleinigkeiten frusten mich tierisch.
KDE 4.8.4 und der OpenSource AMD Grafikkartentreiber.
Hardware ist nen aktueller AMD Hexcore mit 16GB RAm und ner 80GB Intel
SSD. Soweit so gut. Achja, Grafikkarte ist OnBoard.
Recht potentes System.
Aber so extrem träge bei Grafikdingen.
Ich habe 6 virtuelle Screens bei KDE eingerichtet. Das Wechseln von
einem zum anderen dauert 1-2 sec. Manchmal hakt es auch und es braucht
10 sec. Und sobald der Xchat2 in seinem Tray Icon meint, das
Ausrufezeichen blinkend darzustellen dauert das Wechseln von Programm
zuu Programm auch mal gute 5-10 sec, auf dem selben Screen wohlgemerkt.
RAM ist nichtmal halb genutzt, also SWAP ist ned genutzt.
Und bis der VLC mal anfängt, ein Video flüssig zu zeigen... da kann ich
fast Tee kochen gehen.
FullHD brauch ich gar ned mit anfangen, leider.
Und Audio ist auch ein Geraffel, sobald eine 2. Audioquelle an geht,
kratzt der Sound ohne ende, als ob er total übersteuert ist. Super, wenn
man in amarok nen stream hört und dauert "ping" "pong" von anderen
Programmen kommt.
Btw, amarok2, weiß einer, wie man den dazu bekommt, bei nem webradio die
Titel anzuzeigen? Das kann doch ned so schwer sein...
