Problem mit Grub



Hallo

Ich habe ein Abit (A_N68SV) Motherboard mit einem
NVIDIA GeForce 7025 /nForce 630a  Chipsatz. Dieses Board
hatt 4 Sata connectors. An connector 1 bis 3 haengen jeweils
eine Maxtor Festplatte. (sda bis sdc) an connector 4
haengt ein DVD-Laufwerk. Mein OS ist Debian etchnhalf.

Die Formatierung ist sda hatt eine primaere Partition
sdb eine primaere und eine swap. (sdb1 und sdb2) sdc eine primaere und eine swap.
(sdc1 und sdc2). Ich habe nun auf sda Linux installiert und Grub in den
MBR von sda schreiben lassen. Das funktioniert auch. Linux wird gebootet.
Nun wollte ich auf sdc1 ein Notfall-Linux installieren um notfalls auf
mein Arbeitslinux (sda1) zugreifen zu koennen.

Ich habe also debian auf sdc1 normal installiert und den Grub nach
sda geschrieben. Das Grub-Bootmenue zeigte auch alle vorhandenen 
Betriebssysteme an. Aber ich kann nur das Linux auf sda1 booten,
das Linux auf sdc1 nicht. Grub behauptet, es waere ein Falsches
Filesystem auf sdc1 (Fehler 17) und er koenne das root Verzeichniss
nicht mounten. Ich habe sdc mit Badblocks und fsck getestet. Kein
Fehler.! Das Testprogramm fuer die Festplatten konnte ich nicht
starten. Es stuerzt ab. (Dos-boot-cd Seagatetools)

Ausgabe von Fdsik -l und die Ausgaben in dmesg sind ohne
Auffaelligkeiten. (Dateisystem:linux 83) 
Auch im Bios werden alle Platten korrekt erkannt.

Aber wenn ich mit folgendem Menu.lst  Eintrag versuche mein rettungs-linux
auf sdc1 zu booten, geht es nicht. (Falsches Dateisystem Fehler 17)
Ich habe daraufhin Grub von sda1 mit der rescue - cd wieder hergestellt.

Grub behauptet, das sdc1 swap waere und sdc2 ext3, es ist aber genau umgekehrt.
Was ist da los.??
