Wo ist der Widerspruch? YaST ist nicht frei, die komplette Suse-CD
enthaelt YaST, daher darf man nicht die komplette Suse-CD kopieren.[1]
YaST verwendet (linkt gegen) meines Wissens nicht MySQL daher hat
MySQLs keinen Einfluss auf die von YaST - die infektioese Eigenschaft
der GPL kommt nicht zu tragen. (Wenn YaST doch MySQL Support boete,
koennte Suse es einfach gegen libmysqlclient aus 3.23.51 linken, das
ist naemlich LGPL.)

Suse Linux ist keine "application". Die GPL sichert ausdruecklich das
Recht zu, GPL-Programme auf eine CD zu packen und Geld dafuer zu
verlangen, man muss nur seine Modifikationen der Programme (und
derived Works) auch unter GPL stellen und Zugang zum Sourcecode
ermoeglichen. Beides bietet Suse, auf ftp.suse.com finden sich
die noetigen src.rpms, es ist auch moeglich Suse per ftp zu
installieren _ohne_ es erwerben.
Noch besser: Eine Lizenz, die genau das verboete, was Suse tut
(Programme zusammenstellen und auf eine CD packen, Geld dafuer
verlangen), waere _nicht_ _frei_ im Sinne der Debian Free Software
Guidelines.

[1] Suse kann natuerlich nicht verbieten, dass du dir die rpms der
GPL-Software auf den Suse-CDs nimmst und ins Netz stellst.
