naja, so muessen sie für jede sprache einen compilerlauf machen, wenn
etwas hinzukommt... "heavy development" interpretiere ich jetzt nicht
als das einfache umstellen von strings und/oder neuformulierungen ;)

eigentlich könnte man doch auch dateinamen gettexten, oder ? hat das
schonmal wer probiert ?

ich glaube, daran wirds hauptsächlich hängen... ich denke mal die
meißten leute, die in GNU-Umgebungen entwickeln, verwenden gettext...
und da ja die performance bei all den usern, die komplett gegettextete
desktopumgebungen wie kde oder gnome verwenden, auch nicht völlig im
keller ist, halte ich alle argumente außer diesem rechtlichen für eher
schwach.
