Ich sehe zwar nicht, wo ein nicht automatisch erkanntes Quoting über 5
Zeilen Mehrarbeit für den Empfänger verursacht, aber der Verlust von
Einfärbefunktionaltät ist sicher nicht schön und damit ein gutes Argument,
das ich noch nicht kannte. Welcher Mailclient kann eigentlich Mails
einfärben - bloß der emacs? Das pine hier kanns nicht!

Im Prinzip sind wir das doch alle! :-)

In der pine Help steht lediglich:
OPTION: Reply-Indent-String
This variable specifies an aspect of Pine's Reply command. When a message
is replied to and the text of the
message is included, the included text usually has the string "> ", the
default, prepended to each line
indicating it is quoted text.
