Jo tinc una G450 i funciona. Pot ser que no tinguis ben configurada
les frequències horitzontal i vertical del Monitor?

Aquest error que menciones és l'únic que mostra?

Mira que tinc jo a /etc/XF86Config-4:

A veure si et serveix.

Per cert, no sé si saps que hi ha un patch pel kernel per poder tenir
sortida TV mitjançant el framebuffer. No és una maravella però
funciona.
