Oh, another important question to me is: assuming I'm going ahead with
writing doc-base files for registering the tetex documentation which *I*
consider targeted at the final users, are you willing to add them to the
tetex-doc package?
If you're not there's no point in continuing my effort.
Of course we could discuss which documents are considered targeted at
the final users and which are not ...
