It's there! I watched the list since yesterday and it was always
there ... see below.

Hm, look here:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=321094 No line
wrapping ;-)

lmodern? I used the two examples from my bug report (with one little
difference -> see below), where lmodern isn't loaded at all.

I sent the output of compiling these two files:

%--font-test.tex--------
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{MinionPro}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\begin{document}
test
\end{document}
%------------------------

and

%--font-test.tex--------
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{bfrutiger}
%\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\begin{document}
\sffamily test
\end{document}
%------------------------

I don't know what's going wrong here. Maybe I misunderstand you but
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=321094 lists my
message. Actually I only sent it to 321094@bugs.debian.org and not
to you. Now I send it to you and in the CC to 321094@bugs.debian.org.
