Ah, sorry, I didn't know that. I also checked the X docs again
and it seems that XFILESEARCHPATH can only contain one directory,
so only having one XDvi resource file is probably the best solution
anyway.

(Even if XFILESEARCHPATH supported multiple files, it would be unclear
which file should override the other since texconfig needs to change
the settings in the texmf file.)
