Fine. The problem I had (mktexpk: don't know how to create bitmap font
for cork-lmr10.) came from the issue we had with the older version:
There was a /etc/texmf/updmap.d/10lmodern.bak but no .cnf. After purge
the reinstall was o.k. Unfortunately I don't have any idea how this
came. I should probable revert to my old tetex version and repeat the
upgrade process. Maybe on the weekend.
