it seems that the old bug:
2002/04/17 (fixed): TeX capacity exceeded with fancyvrb
is back. i got:
! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [pool size=70844].
whatever the size of the pool is, even on a stripped file containing
only my title page :(.
