Is that documented anywhere? If it is, I'm guilty of not reading
closely enough. Perhaps it ought to print out about it? Can it
print a `trying...' countdown timer the way it prints the download
ETA?

I don't know very much about that. It's that I've not had any need
to learn about it and have so much else to read.
