xfonts broken on latest updates?

I noticed during recent upgrades that xfnts* -> xfonts*. Now, I'm
left with some font problems.

This is what I have in terms on xfonts packages:

ii xfonts-100dpi 3.3.2.3a-8 100 dpi fonts for X servers
ii xfonts-75dpi 3.3.2.3a-8 75 dpi fonts for X servers
ii xfonts-base 3.3.2.3a-8 standard fonts for X servers
ii xfonts-scalable 3.3.2.3a-8 scalable fonts for X servers

Many of my X programs report something like:

Warning: Cannot convert string "-*-helvetica-bold-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-*" to type FontStruct
/usr/X11R6/bin/WindowMaker warning: could not create font set -*-helvetica-medium-r-normal-*-8-*-*-*-*-*-*-*. Trying fixed

or simply,

Unable to load text font

Am I missing a package that I need or did something break during
install?

Thanks,
