Re: network problems?

I'm still having network problems with debian updates circa last weekend.
I tried recompiling my kernel to see if it had anything to do with my ppp
support coming from a module. In doing so, I accidentally compiled my new
kernel without SMP support--I have a dual Pentium machine--and my network
problems were gone or not noticeable. When I recompiled with SMP support,
my network problems came back. I've encountered this problem on both
kernel versions 2.0.35 and 2.0.36-pre-patch-19. I've ran kernel versions
2.0.32 through 2.0.35 with SMP support in the past without any problems.
Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,
