Please, someone can drive me to the right way?

I'm getting crazy because, when the installation freeze:

1) i've extensively used the keyboard
2) i've used the network to download the kernel and driver package
3) i've used the disk, i've just partitioned and formatted it, and i've
   installed kernel and modules.

what are done after the configuration of device driver modules phase?
